Thoughts you might have

  1. Could you not just plug the far end extension cable into the back of the colorado on the far end connector and have both the Prime/A & B/C cables in the primary and secondary inputs.

Answer:  Yes.  But, in that instance, the far end plungers are active and a person passing by that pushes a plunger would register.

  1. Could you simply disconnect the near end and connect the far end when you timers move?

Answer:  Yes.  But people have asked how to avoid doing that.  This offers a simple switch that the colorado operators simply 'switch'

  1. What happens if you run a race and the colorado operator forgot to toggle the switch.

    Answer:
That's a messed up.  You will probably notice in the middle of people finishing (or after all of them) because you will see the colorado continue to run.  Stop the colorado, reset, have the computer people use the manual times.  Yep - it's called a mess up.
